LESSON 3: Meeting your orphaned joey for the first time |
Turn to Lesson 4 and read what you will be doing next lesson.
Task 3.1
Your teacher will tell you about the posters that you will be producing today.
You will display them in the “VET CLINIC” in tomorrow’s lesson.
Make sure that they are colourful and creative, whilst still being informative and easy to read.
Task 3.2
Use the generating your joey software to obtain an image of your orphaned joey. This is now the joey you need to "rescue". Your teacher will also give you an orphaned joey card. The weight of your joey will be printed on the image. If your image says Scale 1:1, then it is exactly the size of your joey. For the older joeys, the image is half life size and you will need to double your measurements.
Carefully measure the length of the tail and of the foot as shown below and fill in the measurement details under “My joey”.
The remainder will be completed in the next lesson.
