This is an example net design of a container and it is not drawn to scale.
Your container must hold 1 litre.
Decide on a shape for your container. Work out the measurements. Draw the net and make the container.
Packaging Design
In this activity you will be asked to match the correct net design with the completed package. Look at
the constructed
boxes and try and visualise what each box would look like unfolded.
Do any of them match with the net design at the top of the page?
Pay attention as you will be designing and making your own packaging afterwards!
Try looking at different food and drink packages that you see in the supermarket. Can you work out what
their net design would look like?
When the package is empty, undo it and see how it looks.
