Pupils compare the sample responses provided
Sheena starts her follow-up lesson by returning pupis' previous work on the task along with her written comments.
She then hands out the sample work provided with the tasks. The pupils read the samples, try to understand them and then put them in rank order.

Sheena now holds a plenary in which pupils comment on the sample responses and share their opinions on which one was 'best'.
They also discuss where they would rank their own work in relation to the samples.

Having seen the work of others, pupils re-attempt the task
The pupils now have the opportunity to attempt the task again, having seen and discussed a variety of different responses.
