Re-introducing the task

With written feedback in question form

Dominic begins by re-introducing the task to his pupils, asking them to recall their previous work and then respond individually to the feedback questions he has written on their work.

Pupils now work in pairs, explaining their answers, and their response to the feedback, to each other and discussing the next steps towards an improved response.

Making posters

Pupils produce their improved responses

After the plenary, Pupils return to working in pairs as they prepare posters showing their improved responses.

Dominic circulates, observing the pupils at work and posing probing questions.

Poster presentations

Pupils show their responses to the whole class

Pairs take turns to present their new responses to the class while Dominic solicits questions from the class, and asks questions of his own.
